Early Sunday pickup game
Roman and Erik are visiting me. Roman wanted to play, but Scott said our roster was full. He still came; the plan was he would be subbing with me. But Neil, a guy from the UK who lives in the same part of London as Roman, called him on the pitch to play for white. I played for dark.
Note
Whites were bitching in me that I joined the dark team, so I missed our first goal. Stefan and Erick scored our goals in the first half, but I got one goal, too: I interrupted their pass in the defense, went around the goalie, and scored into the empty net with the left foot.
In the second half, we continued dominating. Stefan scored his second goal and was on his way to a hat-trick. I scored another one from a longer distance, again with my left foot. But no one from us was able to score three goals:)
In the end, the tempo slowed due to the immense heat. For the last 15 minutes, Roman only walked on the pitch and prayed for the end.
